Act One offers a range of acclaimed programs to train and mentor Christians for careers in mainstream film and television.

The Act One Executive Program is a rigorous 12-week program that prepares and mentors talented Christians for executive careers in mainstream entertainment.  The program includes a summer internship and a challenging after-hours curriculum taught by Hollywood professionals.

The Act One Writing Program trains talented Christians for careers writing for mainstream film and television.  The program features a world-class faculty of over 50 top-notch TV and movie writers, directors, agents and producers.

Act One Screenwriting Weekends offer two-day workshops in cities across the U.S. on the craft and business of writing for mainstream TV and film, plus spiritual and ethical issues faced by writers, taught by Act One instructors.

Act One Script Consultants include story analysts working throughout Hollywood and skilled film and television writers, all trained and qualified to provide an honest assessment of your writing and practical guidance to help you write your best script.

Act One's Alumni Programs provide advanced training, mentoring, instruction and experience to graduates of our Executive and Writing Programs. These include the Act Two Advanced Writing Workshop, Spring Training for television writers, writing groups, script readings, a variety of topical seminars, the Peter Glenville Short Film Project and the McFarland Screenwriting Fellowship.
